An interesting book highlighting that the brain is always changing, and that providing it with new challenges and through a healthy lifestyle it can continue to evolve and take on the continuous challenges which we throw at it.
My personal take aways are how rest and sleep are as important to the brain as taking in information and that by continuously stimulating our brain we are actually suppressing the output which it is generating. Not only does this get explained, but some tips are provided on how to actually use this to your advantage if you are trying to tackle a particularly challenging problem.
Additionally the book looks at stress and how it is both a bad but also a good thing – it goes on to explain how managing stress can actually use it to your advantage and that there are ways to reduce the stress levels in your body.
